Fraser’s Green Harvest Juice for Summer Days on the Farm.

On these sweltering hot Summer days, sustaining and maintaining the Farms finest machinery (Fraser, Hannah & Ben) is utmost important. While the team go about their daily jobs list, an extra cucumber is harvested here and another cut of basil there, along with a just good enough zucchini - all to find their way into the workbench blender come lunchtime. Topped up with a dash of water from the garden hose and short whiz later, a gorgeous green foamy juice is begging to be guzzled by the parched and weathered farmers. This has been a ‘go-to’ recipe for the farm team as a way to replenish mid-day from the laborious farm tasks that become extra challenging with the heat of the day.

Ingredients:
•half a bunch of basil Basil
•1 handful of Baby Spinach
•1 handful of Kale
•1 TBSP Peanut butter
•1 Cucumber
• half a bunch of Parsley
•1 Zucchini
• 1-2 Bananas

Method:
Place all ingredients inside a high speed blender. Top up with enough water so that all ingredients are covered. Whiz together for about 30 seconds or until there are no more chunks. Pour over ice into a glass. Yum!
