Beth (Billie) Mammos
PROGRAM FACILITATOR
Born on unceded Boon Wurrung Country, Beth (Billie) grew up with a deep love for movement, learning, and the natural world. Her journey began as a secondary teacher in Health, PE, and Biology, but she soon found her heart drawn to special education, working alongside young people who had been pushed to the margins. Between teaching chapters, her restless spirit led her across the globe—working at summer camps in Canada, hitchhiking through Europe, and chasing winters across Japan, Canada, and Australia.
Since returning to Wadawurrung Country, Billie found a new kind of magic in the garden. There’s nothing quite like waking up to see what vegetables have grown overnight, singing to the flowers, and whispering to the bees. She believes in play, connection, and the power of the land to teach us.
In her spare time, Billie can be found painting flowers, getting lost in creative projects, and spending time with her best friend, Juniper.
